Privacy Policy

SensualRead is a free library of romance and literary erotica for adults. You can read everything here without an account. This page explains what little information the site handles, why, and what you can do about it.

If you only read the site

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which stories are read, for example which page you arrived on, how far you scrolled and whether you used the sign-up box. Google sets its own cookies (named _ga and similar) for this. We do not use the data to identify you, and we do not run ads.
  • Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it keeps short technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running.
  • Our own cookies. A few small cookies on your device remember your choices on the longer stories: sr_unlock (you have unlocked them), sr_sub (you have signed up) and sr_skip (you chose to keep reading without signing up; it lasts three days). They hold only the value 1: no email address, no story text and no password.

If you join the newsletter

The newsletter runs on MailerLite. When you sign up we keep your email address, the date you joined and the form you used, and MailerLite records whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can tell which stories readers want. We use your address only to send the SensualRead letter and the welcome emails. We never sell it or share it with anyone else.

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe, you get no further emails.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. The site still works; unlocked stories will simply ask for your email again.
  • You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, or to delete your email address and newsletter history, by writing to sensualread@outlook.com.

Adults only

SensualRead is for readers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has signed up, write to us and we will delete the address.
